I have been a photographer most of my life.
I’ve studied art. I’ve studied design. I’ve studied photography.
I’m into my forties and still wondering. How do I see?

I know of light and shadow. The physics, the math, the science.
But the idea of seeing.
Of being.
That is what fascinates me.

Two people standing side by side don’t see the same thing.
They never can. That’s the wonderment.

To try and show what I see to be seen as anyone chooses to see it.

That is part of my challenge.

We often pass places that we have seen many times.
But have never truly been.

To look
To see
To be

For a moment to travel to where you are.
To be drawn into the cross section of visual thought.
Visual being. Of light. Of space.

To see what is always there but is in constant perceptual motion.

A visual banquet surrounds us. We have the choice to indulge as far as we care.
Allowing ourselves the freedom from ourselves to accept this invitation.

It’s simple as most things in life are.

I look.
To see.

To share.
